DENVER, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — EverPeak Insurance today announced the appointment of Patrick K. Daley, CPCU, as Chief Underwriting Officer. Daley has more than 30 years of experience underwriting large, complex, and hard-to-place risks at carriers including Zurich Insurance, The Hartford, and GuideOne Insurance.

Patrick Daley’s career in complex risk underwriting

Patrick Daley has spent his career in the areas where underwriting is hardest.

• Glatfelter Insurance Group (2024–2026): Head of Glatfelter Underwriting Services.
• GuideOne Insurance (2022–2023): Chief Underwriting Officer. During a turbulent period for the company, he led the re-underwriting of multiple portfolios, including its Property & Casualty E&S book, its Programs business, and its Church business. That work contributed to an investment by an outside organization that secured the company financially.
• The Hartford (2017–2022): Head of Large Property, leading underwriting for some of the largest and most complex property exposures in the market.
• Zurich Insurance (2007–2017): Held four leadership roles over ten years: Head of Alternative Programs, Head of Property, Chief Underwriting Officer – Global Corporate, and Senior Vice President of Property.
• Early career: Underwriting roles at Swiss Re, CNA Re, GE Insurance, and Chubb.

Patrick Daley’s priorities at EverPeak

Daley’s first priorities at EverPeak include building a new value proposition for the company’s Workers’ Compensation Middle Market business, which has long relied on deep data analysis, technology, and service. He will also lead the relaunch of Attune’s BOP (Business Owner’s Policy) product and the cross-selling of BOP and other products to EverPeak’s workers’ compensation customers.

Patrick Daley’s credentials and education

Daley holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.
